IKME 2003 To Showcase Yarns & Stitches
The premier edition of the International Knitting Machinery Exhibition (IKME) 2003, to take place in Milan October 16-20, wil feature "Per filo & per segno" (Yarns & Stitches), an area devoted to providing knitwear manufacturers with creative product ideas. The area will house more than 1 thousand sample knitting stitches divided into separate commodity categories, as well as a variety of yarns."Per filo & per segno," said Carlo Bassi, IKME exhibition director, "will be an absolute first for a textile machinery fair, because it will not only attract knitting machinery technicians, but also product men and fashion designers."In addition to knitting machinery, IKME exhibitors will showcase washing, finishing, pressing and packaging machinery, as well as software and accessories.
