The fourth edition of the Turkish Fashion Fabric Exhibition (TFFE), held in New York recently, attracted almost 1,600 buyers, according to the Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters Association (ITKIB), organizer of TFFE. ITKIB adds that the number represents an increase of almost 50 percent from previous exhibitions and includes 588 first-time attendees.New technologies in fabric yarns, weaving and finishing were shown. Featured products include brushed cotton corduroy with a patented weaving technology, new finishes for denim, fabrics with woven-in over-dye and tie-dye effects, and a polyurethane and cotton blend moleskin finished fabric called Dyno Darry, among others.
