Toyota Shows Off New Air-Jet Loom
At the recent ShanghaiTex 2003, Japan-based Toyota Industries Corp. showed its new JAT710 air-jet loom, whose production began in February 2003.According to Toyota, the new model lowers air consumption by 20 percent. Moreover, newly developed weft insertion, beating motion and frame structure help lower vibration at high-speed operation by 30 percent.Toyota said the JAT710 also is equipped with a new color function panel that corresponds to new interactive Internet functions.
