A. Monforts Textilmaschinen GmbH, Germany, will exhibit its newly introduced Montex 6000 tenter for the first time in China at CITME. The new flagship tenter features a new control platform, wireless monitoring, pneumatically operated doors and new fabric handling devices.

Suitable for the treatment of woven and knitted fabrics, as well as for coating processes of technical textiles, the Montex 6000 offers a choice between horizontal and vertical chain return. It also provides a host of new features designed to improve performance, facilitate installation, operation and maintenance and reduce operating costs, according to Monforts.The new tenter offers a choice of control systems. Qualitex 540 allows important operating parameters including temperature set points, fan speeds, overspeeds and tension for fabric transfer devices to be set and monitored using the touchscreen.The optional Qualitex 740 is a fullscale, programmable logic process controller that incorporates the Monformatic system. Additional functions of the Qualitex 740 include the storage of setup data, batch management, network interfacing and automatic nozzle pressure control.
