Schönherr's Carpet Weaving Machine Provides Flexibility
Schönherr GmbH, Germany, a member of the Stäubli Group, recently introduced the Alpha 360 for face-to-face, and loop- and cut-pile carpet weaving.The Alpha 360 comes equipped with the automated Stäubli Dobby type 2685 and three-position jacquard machine, which provide quick changeover from one weaving style to another and enable more than 220 weave structures for six different carpet qualities.According to Schönherr, advancements in the machines weft insertion and gripper system make the Alpha 360 extremely efficient and flexible, and reduce production costs.
