Tolland, Conn.-based Gerber Technology, a supplier of textile CAD/CAM systems, has announced plans to centralize three operations in Shanghai — its Advanced Technology Center, its Engineering Technology Center and its sales and service operations — to a new 2,500-square-meter facility in the Caohejing Hi-Tech Park.In addition, the company also has doubled the size of its office in Guangzhou and established an Express Logistics Center in Hong Kong.According to the company, China is the second-largest market for Gerber after the United States. The company has installed more than $120 million in systems in the Greater China region.
