Inventa-Fischer Receives Order From Taiwan
Switzerland-based engineering firm Inventa-Fischer AG, a member of the EMS Group, has received an order from Zig Sheng Industrial Co. Ltd.,Taiwan, for a nylon-6 plant to be built in Taoyuan Hsien.Inventa-Fischer will provide the design and engineering work, deliver the process equipment, and delegate its specialists to oversee the erection and commissioning of the plant. The new plant, scheduled for start-up in mid-2005, will have an annual capacity of more than 60,000 tons of nylon-6 chips.The project is valued at 30 million Swiss francs (about $24 million).Inventa-Fischer last supplied Zig Sheng with a nylon-6 plant in 1998.
