ProSim Simulates Jacquard Embroidery Punch Cards
The Embroidery Connection, a strategic alliance comprising AllCAD Technologies Ltd., Hong Kong; Heinzle Embroidery AG, Switzerland; and Interservices Medik, Austria; now offers the computer-controlled ProSim system to replace punch cards on Saurer and Plauen jacquard embroidery machines, and provide stitch data from a floppy disk or CD-ROM.The system also provides a stitch editor to enable design modifications and scale changes. Access to designs is controlled by a central design administration. Production costs can be reduced by using an optional stitch reduction program that makes it possible to remove stitches automatically.ProSim runs on a personal computer using the SUSE Linux 8.X operating system.
