Santex Unveils SUVAC® Hydroextraction Machine

Santex Unveils SUVAC® Hydroextraction Machine
Santex AG, Switzerland, has introduced the SUVAC® vacuum hydroextraction machine for circular knitted fabrics.According to the company, conventional hydroextracting methods for tubular fabrics result in crease marks and spin-drying marks or edge marks from squeezing. With the SUVAC machine, a tubular fabric is first untwisted by a twist detector. The fabric then moves through the wetting trough to a circular nozzle for hydroextraction. Due to the even overstretching of the fabric on its way through the circular vacuum extraction nozzle, a uniform mesh structure is maintained all the way over the relaxation loop.Santex said other advantages of the SUVAC include increased efficiency and improved results such as the elimination of crease marks.
