Honeywell Increases DSP® Production
U.S.-based Honeywell International has announced a plant expansion at its Kaiping, China, facility to double production of its dimensionally stable polyester (DSP®).The expansion is scheduled to be completed later this year. DSP yarns and fibers produced at the plant are used in tire reinforcement, as well as in other industrial and consumer applications.“As the only polyester fiber supplier with manufacturing facilities in Asia, Europe and North America, we continue to make investments in technology to meet the needs of our customers, wherever they are located,” said Greg Rogowski, general manager, performance fibers.
