First Independent Intertextile ShanghaiHome Textiles Show Took Off
The first independently held Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles show, held in September at the New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, attracted more than 19,400 trade buyers from 76 countries to attend. Among the attendees, 16,554 came from mainland China and 2,850 came from overseas, including 365 from Japan, 351 from Taiwan, 323 from Hong Kong and 277 from Korea. A total of 381 exhibitors from 21 countries participated in the fair, including home textile manufacturers from Austria, France, Korea, Pakistan and Turkey. In addition, more than 350 exhibitors came from China’s home textile producing regions, such as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Zhejiang provinces.The products at the show covered the entire home textile range including curtains; upholstery; fibers and yarns; and bed, bath and table linens.
