ASTM Signs MOU With China's SAC
U.S.-based ASTM International and the Standardization Administration of the Peoples Republic
of China have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) under which they will explore cooperative
standards development opportunities in areas of mutual interest, promote communication and
knowledge sharing, and promote increased Chinese participation in ASTMs standards development
process.ASTM says the MOU will facilitate development of Chinese national health, safety and
environmental standards; and enable the two organizations to better support the needs of the
Chinese people.
