Stoll Introduces Tandem Knitting Machines

Stoll Introduces Tandem Knitting Machines
H. Stoll GmbH & Co. KG, Germany, has recently introduced new tandem machines for the production of a variety of articles with large working widths. The CMS 322 TC-M is capable of manufacturing two garments simultaneously in working widths of up to 2 inches by 42 inches, or one piece in any extra-large size -- with or without the standard take-down comb and clamping/cutting devices on both sides of the machine. Intarsia fabrics with a gauge range of E5 to E16 also may be produced. The machine can be converted into a multi-gauge or knit-and-wear¨ version. The multi-gauge model features a gauge range of E2,5.2 to E7.2, and enables fabrics to be produced in multiple gauges without needle replacement or gauge conversion. The knit-and-wear model features coupled carriages, four systems and a working width of up to 84 inches to produce complete articles in a range of knitting modes, including extra large sizes. Baby and children’s clothing items also may be produced. Complex make-up work may be integrated into the knitting process with other Stoll applications.
