Avery Dennison Retail Information Services (RIS), Pasadena, Calif., has purchased Impressions (Pte.) Ltd., based in Sri Lanka. Impressions manufactures woven and printed tags for Impressions apparel, as well as product identification tags on offset and screen presses. The company employs 150 people and is ISO 9001 certified. According to the company, the acquisition strengthens Avery Dennison RIS’ability to help apparel manufacturing operations throughout Sri Lanka satisfy the product identification portion of their quick response and floor ready merchandise requirements.
