Mayer & Cie. GmbH & Co. KG,Germany, is to supply a circular knitting factory to Iran-based Sabalan Parcheh. The factory is part of a complex currently under construction that will comprise one of the largest textile companies in the Middle East.The order includes 85 machines — single and double jersey, mechanical and fully electronic, with and without open-width device, plush, striping, transfer and transfer/striping.Anvar Hejaziniah, owner of Sabalan Parcheh, based his decision to order Mayer & Cie. machinery upon the company’s technology and quality standards, its ability to provide such a wide variety of machines, and the support and service provided by Iranstrick, Mayer & Cie.’s agent in Iran.The complex will contain spinning, dyeing, knitting, weaving, finishing, printing and making-up capabilities. Hejaziniah plans to market the resultant textile products through his retail outlets in Iran and through export channels.
