Bemis Worldwide Expands In Hong Kong, Transfers Product Distribution

To better service the Asian market, Bemis Hong Kong Ltd. — a subsidiary of coatings and adhesives developer Bemis Worldwide, based in the United States — recently moved its offices to a larger technical service center in Quarry Bay. The new location makes technical support more available to customers with a laboratory three times the size of the lab at its previous location. Additional space also allows Bemis to offer customer training seminars, a larger sample area and more office space for private sales discussions.

“Bemis Hong Kong gives us another contact point that ensures that what has made us successful continues at a high level,” said Steve Howard, Bemis president. “Servicing the Asian market is important to us both as a finished goods producer and a major consumer of finished goods.”

In related company news, Bemis Hong Kong will now distribute Bemis seam tape and film in Hong Kong and South China after transferring responsibility from H&H International, Hong Kong. “ H&H has been a good and loyal partner for over 12 years,” said Howard. “With this change, customers can now deal directly with Bemis Hong Kong Ltd. and benefit from the full access of our testing facilities and technical support team.”
