UK-Based Knitter Nylatex To Establish Company In China

United Kingdom-based Nylatex Ltd. has announced plans to establish Nylatex China, a fully vertical warp- and weft-knitting mill in Guangdong, China. The plant, expected to begin operations in early 2007, also will have dyeing and finishing capacity.

"This is an extremely exciting time for our business and represents a significant investment," said Steve Wright, managing director. "This will not only help secure the ongoing future of our UK business, but create exceptional growth opportunity for the new plant in Asia.

"The new facility will allow Nylatex to capitalize on its strong technical and design heritage, allowing a truly global product offer. The new factory - combined with our strong textile heritage experience and knowledge -means we can seize the opportunities previously closed to us."

Nylatex supplies innovative fabrics to leading brands and retailers in the lingerie and sportswear markets.
