ITM 2006 Technology: Stäubli AG

At ITM 2006, Switzerland-based Stäubli AG will demonstrate the LX 1602 and LX 3202 jacquard machines for the first time at an exhibition.

The machines are based on the LX 1600 and LX 3201, respectively, but offer new features including increased applicable loads at higher speeds. The company will release additional information about these new machines at its booth during the show.

Stäubli also will showcase solutions and products from its three divisions: Shedding Machines; Weaving Preparation Systems; and Carpet Weaving Machines from its Schönherr subsidiary. Items on display will include: a new positive cam motion type 1781 for high-speed and high-load applications, shown in conjunction with the Carbo-Speed T6100 heddle frame; a 2881 electronic dobby with Carbo-Speed T6100 heddles; the DX100/110 electronic jacquard machine for universal application; CX 170 electronic jacquard for name selvages; Unival 100 electronic jacquard; Delta 110 automatic drawing-in machine; Opal multilayer leasing machine; Topmatic warp-tying machine; and examples of carpet patterns possible with the Schönherr Alpha 360 carpet weaving machine.

In addition, various Stäubli equipment will be shown at the booths of partner companies.
