NGC Expands Into China

New Generation Computing Inc. (NGC), a Miami-based developer of software for the sewn products industries, is setting up operations in China in order to provide local support to its US customers and their supply chain partners. The company will operate facilities in three locations including Shenzhen - for its proximity to Hong Kong, Shanghai and Xian. It is currently training staff to provide development, professional services and sales support; and expects the facilities to open very soon.

NGC also plans to market its software products to Chinese plants. Its Shop Floor Control software already is available in simplified Chinese.

"These new locations, combined with our current facilities in the USA, India, Mexico and El Salvador, give our NGC customers local support in the geographic areas where they are producing their products," said Alan Brooks, president. "Local support is needed as the software solutions utilized for global operations become more extensive and important to the success of our customers' worldwide strategies."
