Saudi Company Installs Additional Montex Tenters

Ajlan Bros Co., a leading Saudi Arabian manufacturer and supplier of traditional Arab headwear for markets in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries, has installed two additional Montex tenters from A. Monforts Textilmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG, Germany, at its Suzhou Deylon Textile Co. Ltd. subsidiary in China.

The Montex 6000 tenters were ordered through Hong Kong-based K&E Co. Ltd., Monforts’ representative in China. The eight-chamber tenters are equipped with an integrated heat recovery system, and accompany two Monforts tenters installed when Suzhou Deylon was established in 2002.

The subsidiary produces the traditional red and white yashmagh and semi-translucent white or cream ghuttra, and also provides finishing and packing services. Since installation of the new Montex tenters, output of the yashmagh has increased to 60,000 dozen per month, while output of the ghuttra has increased to 24,000 dozen per month, according to Mohamed Kasseb, finishing manager, Suzhou Deylon.
