Messe Frankfurt Recommends Early Visa Applications To Attend Fairs In China

Citing the large numbers of people expected to visit China in August and September of this year to attend the 2008 Summer Olympic Games and the 2008 Paralympic Games, trade fair organizer Messe Frankfurt’s Hong Kong office is recommending that people planning to attend Messe Frankfurt fairs in China this year should register as early as possible for entry visas.

In connection with the recommendation, the show organizer is offering a special invitation letter to registered trade fair visitors that they can submit with their visa application. The letter explains the purpose of the visit to China and should facilitate the application process.

"We always strive to make visiting Messe Frankfurt trade events in China as easy as possible," said Windy Wen, director of trade fairs, Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong). "Invitation letters for visitors is one way we can add value for visitors to our shows."

• Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles 2008, August 26-28, Shanghai;
• Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics 2008, October 20-23, Shanghai;
• Cinte Techtextil China, October 20-22, Shanghai; and
• Yarn Expo Autumn, October 21-23, Shanghai.
