Fleissner To Deliver Two Spunlace Machines To China
Germany-based nonwoven machinery manufacturer Fleissner GmbH reports it has received two recent
spunlace machine orders from companies in China.
Shanghai BG Industrial Fabric Co. Ltd., a producer of needlepunched filtration felts, has ordered an AquaJet spunlace machine for the production of heavy webs from polyester, P84, Nomex®, polytetrafluoroethylene, glass-reinforced products and other materials. According to Fleissner, the machine can apply pressures of up to 400 bars for weights up to 600 grams per square meter (gsm), and offers the option of producing man-made leather up to 300 gsm and sanitary products up to 80 gsm. BG Filter will be the first company in the world to market hydroentangled filter products of such high web weights.
Shaoxing Hezhong Fibre Co. Ltd., a producer of spunlace nonwovens, has ordered a fourth spunlace line that will be used to produce lightweight nonwovens of up to 80 gsm at high production speeds. The company purchased its three existing hydroentanglement machines from Fleissner.
