Nishat Mills Orders Monforts Energy Towers
Pakistan-based Nishat Mills has ordered six Energy Towers from Germany-based A. Monforts
Textilmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG. The units, ordered through local agent Al Ameen, will be
installed on three existing Monforts Montex tenter frames at its finishing facility before the end
of the year.
Monforts reports using the Energy Tower can save up to 30 percent in energy costs. The tower takes fresh air through its heat recovery system, which is then heated using exhaust air from the tenter. The Energy Tower then directs the heated air into the chambers of the tenter. Each unit measures 1.3 x 1.7 x 2.9 meters, and was designed as a stand-alone unit suitable for a retrofit application.

Nishat
