Lexington, N.C.-based Navis TubeTex, a designer and producer of textile finishing machinery, reports three customers in Turkey recently selected the latest-generation TM-100 open-width compactor for their production needs. Most recently, an installation was completed at Akhan Tekstil, Turkey. Navis TubeTex reports the TM-100 operates at more than 40 meters per minute and offers compaction of more than 25 percent. According to the company, other factors that make its shrinkage control systems for knits desirable include: low maintenance costs; ease of operation; high-quality production; local service; and high-quality machine construction.
